Absolutely, has to be Bill! He cares so much about this town and its people, especially the kids. When our now 21 year old son was in second grade and Bill donated a few dinners to a class fundraising project, we were fortunate enough to go to his home to pick up the certificates. Bill showed our son "the room" with all his accolades and, most importantly to a seven year old baseball nut, all the signed bats, balls, shirts and photos and told our son as he was taking it all in "you stay in school, work hard on your education and be nice to your family". Our son was in awe and I'm happy to say, took Bill's words to heart. It has amazed me how much Bill has donated over the years in goods, thoughts and deeds. I've always said he's one of those angels here on earth...
Muniz is the certainly most "popular." Can't argue with that! Interesting question though. If you asked who is the most respected, I'd throw in Peter Garcia, LMC's president or Mary Erbez. Everyone likes Mary
I used to see Bill at the gym frequently and he was always super cool to chat with, but I am partial to Pete Garcia and also Jess Leber. Those guys have been mucho valuable to the social fabric of Pittsburg.

I agree. Bill is probably the most popular person. Group of people would have to be Pitt High's football program and Marching band.
